I need to schedule a program to close itself everyday at 8am, how can i achieve this?
I've XP's "scheduled tasks" and that doesn't do it.
Is there another way or app to do this?

Thanks.

download pskill from sysinternals, put it into your system32 folder

create a file in notepad

save it as killer.bat or something (make sure its .bat and not .txt)

have this text in the file!

pskill torrent.exe

save..

call that bat file in schuduler!

I'm using uTorrent but can't seem to get the scheduling to work properly, ie I i scheduled a particular torrent to stop at 8am but found it was still going at 11am !!!

**EDIT**

I figured out uTorrent's scheduler :)

Thanks for all the input guys.

Azureus has a nice scheduler but you have to download it as a plugin called 'Speed Scheduler' which you find in the plugin section of there site.

Once installed you can schedule your downloads in a different way including uploads and download speeds.

At the mo, i have mine set so i download my torrents at midnight to 8am and then it pauses from 8am to midnight including seeding :D
