How can i share a calendar within an office?

Hi there, i am interested in how i could share a calendar for bookings between multiple computers on a simple office network.

I am sure there are large enterprise solutions for this but in a small office with no main server how could i set up a system that allowed 2 or 3 PC users to access and edit the same calendar?

yeah i just found google calendar online calendar database gotta be most reliable, obviously up to the customer to backup and maintain timeline integrity, system based calendar would worry me.
