How can I stop voice over?

Hello all,

How can I stop the voice over? it's a keyboard shortcut and I managed to turn it off before, but this time I don't seem to be able to do it.

It's driving me up the wall!!!!

Here's a tip.

If you open system preferences and type in the search bar it will highlight options relevant to the search criteria.

For example:

Then click one of the multiple drop-down options (not shown in the pic), and it will take you to the right section

Would probably be worth your while going into Keyboard Shortcuts (System Prefs > Keyboard & Mouse > Keyboard Shortcuts) and disabling the shortcut for it, along with any others that you don't need.
