...people calling me up asking if I want to upgrade?

It happens at least once a week and its driving me mad!

if its unknown numbers, then i have heard that some phones or networks block unknown numbers. i have this problem, as does every person who owns a phone number as whats happens is a comapny will ring random numbers and then when they find out that that persons cnotract is up soon, they ring loads of numbers up and down from that number, e.g. if your number is 07xxxxx800, they will ring 07xxxxx600-800. If i i have the time i like to keep them as long as i can on the phone wasting there time and money that they could have earned

try registering with the TPS (telephone preference service) - i have and have only ever had 1 call asking to upgrade

I have tried that, in fact I registered before I started getting these calls, but it seems to of got worse since I registered! That coincided with me moving from Orange to Vodafone too, so maybe they are selling my number on.
