How can i take photos with a webcam?

hi all,

I have a eye toy i use as a webcam, does anybody know how i can take photos with it or what free software i can download to allow me to take photos?

What exactly you want to do? Why not just prtsc (print screen) and paste in mspaint.

well i want to take some pics of me, not print screen. any ideas?
