How can i test my laptop performance?

Apart from the vista test.

My laptop lately seems very slow at multitasking. Especially slow extracting rar files and using quickpar. I have done a lot of converting using encode360 so the laptop has ran for days at full heat.

Now it seems very slow, and i want to test if the cpu's are ok.

Its tosh sat pro, centrino duo.

Its more likley to be ful of temp files, clean out your temp file in both the windows and documents and settings folders, also clear your temp internet files and cookies, then defrag and reboot, then see how it feels.
