How can I transfer large files?

.rar them in many 4gb rar files? if that makes any sense.

Direct crossover connection on the NICs with ethernet (manual IP configs as detailed) and FTP. Easy.

FileZilla Server as Server
Filzilla Client as Client

Any other way is just silly.
