how can i view vids/pics from my icloud on my iphone?

i'm fairly new to icloud having not really bothered with it before.

i've downloaded all the latest software/ios/yosemite 10.10.3 etc. I've now got what seems like all my pics on my icloud / photos app on the computer. But i don't have too many on my phone.

How can i view my archive of pics and vids on my phone, when i'm out and about etc??

i have. i've enabled everything...

in the photos app on my phone i have a folder called all photos with about 250 items in and a folder called video with 100 in. These are fairly recent things. On my iphoto (or photos as it now is) on my computer i have 3,000 ish items.

I was under the impression that these would be synced across my devices...ie i'd be able to view them on my phone. Doesn't seem to be the case.

what's up..?

May need to leave it on charging overnight to sync.

Also worth turning on and off to 'set' the new settings?

thanks, i'll give that a go. i have noticed that my icloud storage amount has gone down to about 169gigs from 200...so something must be happening.

If that doesn't work then sign out of iCloud on your devices and then sign them back in. This is a pain in the arse cos you will need to re-do your preferences. This has sorted out a few niggles for me.

thanks guys - it appears to be working fine. All pics showing in photos on my mac an iphone.

amazing how many pics i thought were long deleted/gone forever have reappeared! Including a fair few 'compromising' ones. Lucky i'm not a celebrity!!
