How can Linux beat Windows?

hi,

I have tested linux based OS (Ubuntu) but I think one important thing should be improved to challenge windows.

1. Offer better compatibality for hardware and software

For desktop use, sorting out the god-awful GUIs and font rendering would be a start.

Its up to hardware vendors to support Linux, not a fault of Linux. Just a fault of the Microsoft monopoly effect.

Dual Booting is the Future. Or the past, Infact I'm doing it at present.

So yeah, Dual Boot, don't choose 1 over the other
