Don't agree with him running them over but seen it in London a couple of times and both times there seemed to be a good number who were out to aggravate motorists so I'm kinda not suprised this has happened.

Well it is worth mentioning, as it puts a considerably different slant on the proceedings to the presented 'psychotic maniac ram raids cyclists for no reason', these people seem to go out of their way to make a nuisance of themselves as it is, if they also went as far as attacking motorists then it should really come as no surprise to them at all when someone reacts in such an extreme manner.

Idiot cyclists, idiots drivers, idiot pedestrians. This argument will roll on for ever it seems. I'm a cyclist, I do not agree with Critical Mass, the driver of the car deserves to go to prison, the government needs to arrest cyclists for deliberately blocking the roads.

If they want to stage a mass gathering, do so through the proper channels. I also realise that this happened in a different country, but my opinion is same for the gatherings here in the UK.

FWIW, like Vader, I'm a cyclist both road and mountain bike, however I do not agree with nor condone the Critical Mass rides.

It seems these rides exist solely to cause problems - hence the numerous issues they've had with police in the past.

I mean the name itself - Critical Mass - has its own meanings!

Haters gonna hate. It's typical of some car drivers to expect that they, and only they, own the road and no-one esle should be on it. The law says that cyclists should be on the road, deal with it. Road tax is based on emissions not the use of the road, deal with it.

One cyclist who was on the ride Camilo Colling, told the Brazilian website Terra Brasil that he spoke to the driver just before the incident, asking him to be patient and stop behaving aggressively towards the riders in his path and warning him that there were children and older people taking part in the ride ahead. The driver allegedly replied "Yes, but I'm in a hurry" before ploughing his car in to the group of cyclists in front of him.

What happened at this meet is plainly attempted murder and some here appear to condone it. Shameful.

The only thing shameful here is your comprehension ability it seems, no one here condones driving a car at speed into a crowd of people.
