How cheap will the PS3 be in...?

Can't see it being cheaper than £350.

I doubt the price will change much, just better bundle deals, so £399 with 3 games and an extra controller, that kind of stuff.
 
Seriously doubt it will go below 350. If it does, that will be the retailers' decision. They are already selling consoles for 380 pounds, at a loss to both them and Sony. They can't afford to ratchet any lower than that, unless Sony implements radical changes.

I wouldn't expect a 60Gb PS3 to be that price until the next generation was coming out. The 360 has been out for 18 months now, and the RRP hasn't changed, it just comes with more stuff.

yes, ive heard claims of PS3's for £350, but didnt know whether it was bs

The 360 didnt need to lower its price since it had no competition until 6 months ago. I would expect some form of price cut before Christmas though.

Also none of us know what the price of the PS3 is going to be at Christmas or in a years time. So why not wait and see for yourself instead? Us lot guessing at its price is not going to achieve anything but bickering in the end.

I think it will be £350 by Xmas and only in 2008 when Sony start miniturising and making manufacture process cheeper will it shrink below that

As stated above before Xmas it will only be in bigger and bigger bundles that you will get the better deals imo
