Hi people,
A few days ago i watched a program called "I didnt devorce my children".This got me thinking.
My mum split up with my dad when I was very young. A few years later she met "Barry" my stepdad. We didnt get on at all when he lived with us. But when he left I was amazingly upset and wanted him to come back.
3years later I not go over to his house every weekend, I also go to watch motor sports with him every summer.
Now, even though my mum and barry have been devorced for about 3years I still think of him as my stepdad and still call his family my family.
But then we come to my actual dad, I never actually see him anymore, he never calls us, visits us or anything. I havent seen him since Christmas. He also forgot my birthday for the second year in a row last year.
What Im wondering is, Does anyone else have a stepdad that has now split up from your mum? if so how close are you?
Im deffinatly closer to my stepdad than my dad, and I think we also got closer when he left my mum
