How close do you sit to your monitor?

Maybe a silly question but I'm curious as to how close other people sit to their monitors when using their PC's for gaming/browsing etc.

I got a measuring tape and measured from my forehead to the monitor screen and it was 26 inches. Screen is a 24" widescreen.

i didnt use a measuring tape but im guessing about 30inches away same size screen

23" screen i sit 20" away when leaning forward typing and 30" sitting back watching a film

I sit in different rooms to my monitor.

About 25" back from my 23" display... I'd rather more tho its better on the eyes I think, nearpoint stress is a real concern.

I sit about 50cm away from my screen, not because of choice, but simply because i cant push it any further back without moving it over to the side (which would make it out of center between my two speakers).

As i mix music, the screen position is my cue for the center spot inbetween the speakers. This is on a 22". I have found in the past, pushing the screen further back actually makes the screen seem larger.

Must be about 70CM away from my screen, maybe a little further, I don't have a tape measure though so that's probably a wildly inaccurate guess.
