How come I never seen any release dates for iPhone 4S

What's going on lol? I got the email from Apple. What about the "5." Is it being released later.

The 4S is what we were all waiting for as the 5, there was always suspicion that apple would do a 4s instead of a 5. There will be a 5 but most likely it will be in 12 months as next years phone.
