How come you can use App store anywhere but not the itunes store (iphone)

I mean why do u have to be in a Wi Fi area for the itunes store to download music but not the app store if anything it should be the other way round due to the higher file size of stuff from the app store.

Because of the size of files from iTunes, they don't want you downloading loads of albums on 3G.

The apps on the app store have a size limit on 3G.

Justin is right. The iTunes store contains albums that are too large for 3G download. The average app however, is very small in comparison.

Yeah but some apps are 100mb as well eg Spore and Asphalt 4 ect but i see ya point. But it would be a good if apple let you download only songs not albums over 3g and albums over Wi FI

The large apps can only be downladed with wi-fi though.

Would be good if you could downlad individual songs though.
