Does diesel cost more to make? Or is this the forecourts cashing in on the fact there are now more diesels on the road which won't be visiting the pumps as often?
Demand for diesel?
It's gone up that much more since september?
Oil prices have certainly gone up, but then surely there should be a similar rise in the price of petrol. I still see many more petrol pumps on the forecourt than I do diesel pumps.
The situation isn't that great. But I'd still take a diesel for a runabout over a petrol. I only visit my local shell garage once a month and even at it's current high cost a litre of veggie oil is only 80p a litre so still cheaper than those nasty petrol engines
