Hi,
I do a lot of work with recording and sound etc... and my rig is just too loud!!

Atm, i have a 800d with watercooling on CPU and GPU and I have a triple rad with 3 Scythe Gentle Typhoons.... and a 120mm (sharkoon silent eagle) rear extraction fan, plus a high speed intake at the bottom.

I also have a D5 Vario pump (which seems louder than when i first got it... i think that is the main noise)

Finally I have a fan controller in a front bay...

The pc is pretty loud... mainly the pump... i think it may have got louder... is there any pumps louder than the d5 vario?? I may have damaged this one or something... or its just getting old.

I use mine for in my home studio, i recently changed to the d5 pump and it's so quiet the damn Eco drives are louder lol. Strange that yours if the noisiest component? I run 6 fans altogether, all run off a fan controller so for studio work I can turn them all down. Might be worth checking the pump over to see if there's any wear or debris in the bearings.

Have you got the D5 isolated from the main case by a foam pad otherwise it vibrates against the case and that is a bad source of noise. I just use a rubber pad but there are specialist jell pads you can buy.
