Was playing Grid singleplayer earlier today and one of the billboards had 'Piranha 3D' on it. I thought, "that must have been a film in 2007 that they got lisencing to advertise in-game", having never heard of it before - however I've just seen a trailer for it on tv and it's in cinemas now. I've never played the game online and have no mods for the game, so I'm just wondering how the game did this?

Sounds like the game has slots left open for them to download or stream advertisements to... Like on the PS3 you get adverts while walking round that virtual life thing

it was either added i na patch/update, or they just though it was such a ridiculous name that it would never actually become a real film

I remember when Hellboy 2 came out there were adverts in GRID for it.

Must be built in to the game that the billboards can be changed.

Yeah, I remember seeing lots of Rolex adds in Grid.

I think it's related to sites you surf
