How do i add a screen shot to a post?

Hi all,

Can't seem to find anyway on the forum that tells me how to do it but i want to add a screen shot to a post to show some data.

How do i do it please............

Thanks in advance anybody who can let me know or point me to where it shows me.

Take the screenshot using the print screen key on your key board. Open up ms pain and paste the image in. Save it. Go to imageshack or any image hosting site and upload the image. Click on the insert image icon when you post and put in the url from imageshack.

Make sure you save it as a .jpg/.jpeg in Paint, else it'll create a huge file.

Pretty muuch what Dun said.

Take the screen shot. Save it as a JPEG. Upload it to a hosting site like imageshack or photobucket etc. On the image hosting site you will see some links that you can use on forums.

All you need to do then is copy the link to the picture. Click on the insert picture button above the post box and paste the link in there.

Its pretty simple once you know how.

I'd suggest using www.tinypic.com over imageshack as it is much faster.

If I press...

CTRL + ALT (left ALT) + PrintScreen Key, at the same time, then only the active window at the time of selection will get sent to my clipboard for my paint type programme to paste it into.

It's just your left ALT and Print Screen key, CTRL isn't necessary.
