how do i add pictures to a thread?

i was trying to ad some pictures to a thread like a before and after series of pics after modding my pc but dont seem to be able to add the pictures! what do i do?

Images have to be hosted somewhere on the internet first.

Then from the 'Go Advanced' option, there is an icon you can click to add an image. This pops up a box so that you can enter the URL of where the image is hosted from.

1. Upload your pix to image hosting site like http://www.imageshack.us/
if you need to make your pix smaller or bigger use the resize function see pix below.

2. use hotlinks for forums (1) link or thumbnails for forums (1) link
(the size of the pix will be dependent on the size of the pix you uploaded or if you use the resize function).you need to copy and paste the link and include it to your post.use the preview option on the forum to see your post before you upload it to the forum.

image shack is pretty good.

it give's you the link you need at the bottom of the picture that will show up on here.

only just found this out myself and is very handy.

use photobucket myself - has all the same tools, and I like the thumbnails with the links below

There's an add on for Firefox that lets you drag and drop images into the window and it will upload to Imageshack and insert the link in one action.

if you have a gmail account just use :

www.pages.google.com

there should be a section to upload your files it's what I use, quick and easy.

I found this after looking at the website I've been using photobucket which doesn't have the same feature & wasn't too happy with new FF3 copying links to clipboard
