How do i burn windows 7 ?

Do you have any burning software ie Nero or any if so then just, pop in a DVD hit install after download manager has finished it will do the rest automaticly:)

imgburn is the best for this. it's tiny and it's 100% free

ditch nero, it's crap

Why would he ditch a product that he already has (admittedly a bloated product) and which is perfectly good at what it does?
If he didn't have a product then fair enough, but I'd not ditch Nero had I paid for it.

I found burning the downloaded Windows i7 .iso image @ 4x (with IMGBurn) resulted in a perfect burn, but burning it @ 12x produced errors on the resultant DVD, even though the media is rated @ 16x, so not quite sure why that is the case...

If you have to burn at anything less than 8x, you are either:

Using an out of date burner
Using a poor burner
Using crappy media

Also, burning 16x rated media at really low speeds can result in very, very poor burns.

Burning at 1x does not guarantee you of success. In fact, burning modern media at 1x would not be recommended. However, it varies depending on the writer/media combo.

I burnt the iso at 18x using Verbatim media with Nero. No problems here.
