Hi,

I would like to change the default background colour of microsoft word documents in word 2003. Ideally i would like something that is slightly 'off-white' (i.e. a pale cream) to help prevent eye strain.

However, i am unable to find a mechanism for doing this, would it be possible to suggest one please?

many thanks

Brightness is just fine, but working with a black on white background doesn't suit me at all. Surely there must be a way of changing it?

edit the Default.doc file :) would love to point it out but am using office 2007 so will most likely be different

Well, there is an option in word for people have eye problems:

Go to tools -> options -> general -> select blue backgroup on white text.

If you use this option however, you will still print white backgroup on white text.

Hope that helps.
