How do i check ATI 4850 temps?

Open up CCC (Catalyst Control Center). Select the advanced view when it prompts you with a window. Then once it has opened, go to the "ATI Overdrive" tab on the list down the left side of the CCC. Now you should see on the right side, your GPU temp and GPU usage. If not, Click the padlock picture just under the drop down menu on the left side. Select Yes when it says this may harm your card etc. Now it should show you everything including GPU clock and Memory clock. Don't touch those unless you want to overclock your card. Temp and GPU usage are on the right. Let me know what temp your running at.

I have a Sapphire 4850. Temp was idling 80c when I bought it, but now it idles 50c. I'll show you how to tweek it down to 50c if you would like :P
