just ordered the 3870x2 today.. hoping it arrives tom :D

anyway, its been a long time since i have upgraded my graphics card.. i want to install my new 3870x2 properly and do it right the first time. currently have the x1900xtx. uninstalling the x1900 drivers through the "add/remove programme" will not completely remove it right?

any tips on installing my new card? running vista32

Remove the drivers from Add/Remove, switch off, swap cards, turn on and boot into safe-mode, run DriverCleaner pro to remove rest of driver remnants, reboot normally, cancel Found New Hardware Wizards, install new drivers. :)

Thats XP btw, not sure if Vista would be same, can't see why not though.
