how do i connect a xbox 360 up through this tv.

What's the TV model number?

If it's got a DVI-I port, then you should be fine with a VGA=>DVI adapter.

From looking at the TV manual, you should be fine connecting the TV up using either component => VGA cable, or a VGA => DVI cable, depending upon which you choose to get. Probably best to go for the VGA.

maybe stupid question but.. which has better quality vga or dvi or they bout the same ?

most likly as you'll just be using a convertor and its only a 20" screen you wouldn't be able to see much difference from the xbox using either connection.

DVI in theory should give you better quality due to all the digital mumbo jumbo it can do, but to a lot of people on average quality equipment, there's little in it. The 360 can't output in digital anyway (currently).

Too save on another thread being made

I have my 360 connected through Component atm but it doesn't look that great, tried VGA as it was a little better, any ideas on the best connection.

TV is the current 32" Miria (not sure of model).

Depends on TV, some HDTVs work better with component, others VGA. Whatever is best for you.
