How do I connect my Cisco Router to Our Netgear Switch

Hi guys,

Sorry for the dump question, bought some network stuff for work and checked I could connect the Netgear switch to the Cisco router via ethernet and was not yes this is normal - however there is no clear (clear enough for me) connection point?

Here are the products:

Netgear - GS724TS

Cisco - 2921/K9 V07

Connect a Cat5e cable from one of the Gigabit ports on the router to any port on the switch. Then do a no shut on the interface within iOS.

As Chris said, then see if you can ping the router.

Sorted cheers guys. Switch automatically knew it was an internet connection so I did practically nothing other than connect it all up!

Just to require all the offices now ready for fibre launch tomorrow!
