how do i convert a standard avi file to a WS avi file?

I need to add a 29.97 fps standard video clip to a 25fps, widescreen project in Pinnacle.

I've managed to convert the video into 25fps however now pinnacle is complaining that it can't add a non WS video to a WS project

anyone know how I can convert this video clip into WS?
