hey guys,

a friend gave me a memory stick with series 1,2 and 3 or game of thrones but ive noticed they are all .AVI files and they wont play on my DVD player when i burn the files to a disk, plays fine on the PC tho.

i need to get these files playing on the DVD player so me and the other half can watch them in the living room :)

so how do i do it? is it easy? dose it take long?

cheers

opk its all downloaded and converting now, do i then just replace all the .AVI files with the new ones or are they all being converted as one file?

windows media player is good enough to burn 6 episodes to a DVD? or should i use something else, something faster maybe?

It is strange as most modern DVD and bly-ray players should be able to handle avi files as long as the correct video and audio codecs are used (that might be the reason why the DVD player is having problems).
