How Do I Convince...?

does anyone remember the tv prog a few years ago featuring timid drivers?
my favourite was the woman who "didn't like" roundabouts, even thought she'd passed her test 15 years previously. every day she used to drive to work and this journey only lasted 1.5 miles until she got to the first roundabout. there, she parked her car up and got the bus the rest of the way.

this just underlines my argument for compulsory re-assessment every 3/5 years.

...hhhmmm convince her she can buy loads of Radley handbags with the money she will save? No idea, her decision does seem to defy all logic. Explain it to her as best you can - try not to sound like a know it all though as you'll just make her more likely to get it. Try and find out exactly why she thinks it is a good idea then amybe you can counter her arguement.

Good luck, I think you'll need it :p Oh and guys please remember there are two types of female car owner/drivers. Unfortunately though OP, your sister seems to be one of those kind ;)

This gives me the same sensation as nails down a blackboard repeated ad infinitum.

It's her money, it's her choise to waste it. Just make sure if she's getting it on PCP she understands she'll have to give the car back or buy it at the end of the deal.

All you can do is get her to consider a year old car (and I'd imagine currrent shape year old clios are very thin on the ground). Oh and get her to see if she can get a bank loan cheaper then the dealer finance.

Oh get her to look at Pug 107/Cit C1/Aygos, should tick all her boxes, very cheap and cracking cars.
