How do I copy all my pc content to portable hard drive easily? Im selling my old pc and want to put all its content on a portable hard drive I bought, a 2TB one.

My files are all over the place and I have files and folders on the desktop, so how can I copy across every single thing on my PC to my portable WD hard drive easily thanks? Before I wipe the hard drive clean to sell the PC?

Create an image using Macrium Reflect.

Make sure to make a copy on 2 separate hard drives just in case

What I'd do..

Sort your files out neatly into My Documents, then transfer that folder.

Otherwise, if your hard drive dued, how the hell would you recover from it?

You should always have at least one full backup of your files
