How do i create an msi

Hi,

I need some help!!

I need to create an msi file inorder to send out a software package over active directory. The software itself is very simple with a setup.exe and a number of other folders and files however the msi's i have created so far have just copied the actual setup.exe file etc into a folder with the program files instead of actually installing the software.

Does anyone know any simple ways to make an msi. This is totally new to me so anything complicated isnt going to happen!

I've tried WinInstall LE and Advanced Installer so far but without any luck.

I don't think you can create an MSI but couldn't you create a .EXE file?

of course you can create a msi, how do think companies create them? tehe.

AD only allows software deployments via MSI.

WinInstallLE is in the 2000 server management tools on the CD.
