how do i delete files thru comand prompt?

just need to get rid of a couple of files that wont delete in windows, i know there is a way of doing it thru command prompt but i can remember how!

you'd probably want to do something like:

attrib -r -s -h filename
del filename

If it still won't delete, try safe mode.

use a program called MoveOnBoot... install it and tell it what file to move/delete and the next time your machine restarts it will do the job

never had issues with it and it always gets rid of those annoying files that just wont delete forwhatever reason.
