I want to try my overclocked bundle pc to stock settings 2.8, just to see if i can notice the change in gameing compared to being overclocked. If the change is not much i would rather run the pc cooler. Its a phenom x6 1055t overclocked to 3.8 bundle with a fenrir cooler, 4 gig dominator ram, geforce 460 1024 mb graphics card and a 1 tb samsung spinpoint f3. I have set up my drives to run in sata mode as well.
would all i need to do is just load default bios settings?. I know i can get the overclock back on by pressing f12 in the bios.

The only profile in the bios is the overclock profile. No stock profile. I have saved my stable overclock as a profile. Not convinced the OC profile was brilliant to be honest, firstly I had to plug in a ps2 mouse to get into the bios because the usb was disabled the bios. I know overclockers check the system is stable but when playing bf bad company 2 for a while it locks up, the same with ghost sniper. maybe they should try out a few games before saying its stable. I underclocked it myself to 3.5 following a guide on youtube and its been fine since.
