How do i do a fresh restore of mavericks

Hi all

Ive sold my macbook so am now trying to wipe it without a cd and restore it back to new

i just can't work out how

If you have a version of Lion, Mountain Lion or Mavericks in your Apple store account, download it to HDD. Then use http://liondiskmaker.com to burn what you have downloaded to a USB (you need 8GB+ USB key).

my internet is so slow it will take all night to download mavericks

i went through the download route! still up and building a boot drive!! 9 hours.....
