I just got a 40gb ssd for my Os on my htpc and I want to move and store my music files on my hdd.

How do I do it so i dont fill my ssd with music?

Ive just done a clean install of win 7 and they are stored on my ssd I assume you know the music file in my computer. I want that shifting to my hdd if that makes sense

is the music on itunes? if not then just drag and drop onto different HDD right?

Unless they have some mad DRM, you should be able to simply cut and paste them onto the HDD.

Also, change your default downloads directory (if you are using something like itunes) over to a folder in the HDD.

Sorted it now fellas, cheers. I changed the default save setting to my hdd. Easy as that. Cheers for the replies.
