Hi guys, think i'll just explain my set-up before i dive into my question.

In my living room, i have my main netgear router, i've used a homeplug to connect it to another router in my room.

I can receive wireless signal and connect to the internet through the second router easily.

I can change settings on the router in the living room no problem, but i want to change the settings of the router in my room, but i don't know where to find it?

when i go to routerlogin.com, it takes me to the router from the living room, even though i'm logged on to the router in my room.

How do i go about logging into this second router?

192.168.0.4 is the IP address of your laptop, which isn't what you want to connect to - so it should be 0.2 at a guess.

managed to figure it out :)

If anyone is in my situation, basically, i turned off my main router, and did a hard reset of the second router.

With only the second router turned on, i went to routerlogin.com and logged in there, changed the ip address to 192.168.0.10 (added the 0 at the end), so now i can log into both and change settings if i want to :)

Make sure you turn off DHCP on the second router, else it will cause problems.

Yep, forgot to mention that!

Also change channels so your devices don't get confused.

Being on the same channel will not confuse devices. It's merely best practice to get into different non-overlapping channels to avoid congestion and potential performance impact.
