How do I find out what computers are folding for me?

Hi,

Is there any listing I can view that tells me what computers are folding for me please?

I just realised that my active processors within the last 50 days is 3... I only have 2 PCs folding at the moment.

I guess it could be my third PC, but I wouldn't have thought that's on enough to actually complete a WU.

reinstalled FAH/Windows or anything?

As such things will register a new client/core/pc when you start up again
 
Yeah, tis a shame that stanford don't keep track of your pc's like borkely do. Mind you, to do that I don't think we would be able run it in a console window.

I wouldn't have thought it'd too hard sending some information about the computer to their server through a console, should be quite easy actually.

There is some information sent by the current client however I think they are limited in what is actually kept. I know I've seen uncle_fungus and other FCF mods posting basic machine details before but I believe it's only the last WU submitted that they can see.

A tracking system like BOINC uses would be great, especially for borged machines without easy access - I really do think it's a luxury though and would likely need a major stats overhaul (including a stats zeroing) to make it work which would probably do more harm to the project than good :o
 
Well, they wouldn't really need to zero the stats. Just because they have detailes of individual machines doesn't mean they have to be included in the pointage stats.

All they need is a separate page for each folder which lists what machines are currently folding and the last time they submitted any work. Stanford already tell you how many clients are folding anyway, they can just make it slightly more detailed.

ie:

SiriusB_[OcUK]

Points: 370,265
WUs: xxx

CPUs: 2 in last 7 days

Windward - 6/07/2007
Excession - 5/07/2007
Alchemist - 12/01/2007


How hard would that be? People at a glance can see the last time a client delivered a WU.
