How do i find out what resolution my gfx card supports?

Hi,

I am considering buying a new 20" widescreen monitor and i would like to know if my radeon x800 supports 1680 x 1050. In my display properties i can only go to 1280 x 1024 but is this just because its the max res for my current monitor?
