How do I find out which port a program is using?

As title really.

My Poker software has been awful lately, dropping every few hands which is no good. I want to try forwarding the port its using on my wireless router.

Also if you've heard of this being a common problem then let me know.

Gibberish to me, how can I tell from that list which is Interpoker.exe?

They're all either

localhost:1234
or external IPs

You would have to look for those connected to the IP of the server you play on. Glad you've got it sorted now anyway, though I'm skeptical that port forwarding is the problem.

wheni do that I see a DOS window open and do some stuff but it closes before i have chance to view it. how can i keep it open to look at. It just closes

Run cmd then type netstat in there.

It hasn't fixed it either. It still randomly disconnects.

What else could it be?

netstat -b will show you which programs are using the ports listed.
