How do I find RAM timings

I would like to set my RAM timings manually rather than 'by SPD' so that I can be certain what they are being set to.

My RAM is Corsair XMS2 CAS 5 and I can see from the marketing blurb and the label that the timings are 5-5-5-18.

Now it's easy enough to relate these to CL, Trcd, Trp, and Tras

but my BIOS has a load of other RAM timings aswell. How do I know what to set these to?

Can you not just leave them default?

You can ignore the rest of the timings, they have very little effect (read none, lol) your timings are listed in order of importance/effect, so first one has most effect, 2nd has 2nd most etc, by the time you get to 5th and on there really is very little real world (or even benchmarking) difference
