how do i fix this text?

hi guys, just bought a macbook today, and the fonts in firefox and safari and in general seem a little wrong. the smoothing setting is set to "automatic"

how do i get it to smooth nicely in finder (doesn't look quite right, is it?), and also fix the blurryness in firefox and safari.

other than this i love my new macbook

and im getting 2gb of ram tomorrow

i can indeed live without extensions, can't live without tabbed browsing and F6 to select address bar though.

it is my first mac

is there anyway to turn it off then? would it work if i upped the min font size in the appearence tab? or if i changed the AA to light?

hmm, dunno. cant try that on mac atm (it is sleeping aww!) but it is still perfectly readable on windows. will try camino though.
