i have these 2 and the MB did say it would work out of the box and be ok with the MB and i think it needs to be flashed as i cant get to post screen nor can the monitor get a signal and ive tried everything else and after looking on google./tube i find this might be my issue but i dont know how to flash without getting into bios etc?

AMD Ryzen 3 3100 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Processor
Gigabyte B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard

i got this info from one site and compatibility of the 2

The Gigabyte B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard supports the AMD Ryzen 3 3100 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Processor with BIOS version F40. If the motherboard is using an older BIOS version, upgrading the BIOS will be necessary to support the CPU.

it boots and all fans stay on and sapphire lights up on gpu but no post screen and no signal tried everything and after looking on the net this is the only results i can come to, and i bought the MB a while ago to build a spare pc and i was holding out to try get a gpu at a decent price but never happened lol so i wont be able to get a return i dont think at all :(

Daft question, you have the monitor plugged into the graphics card and not the motherboard yes? I see a few posts every now and again with these symptoms and the monitor being plugged into the motherboard rather than the graphics card.

A couple of options would be if you can't borrow a 2000 series CPU or have someone flash it for you.

1 buy a 2000 series CPU then flash the bios and return the CPU while its in the return window.

2 just buy a B450 mortar max which can can currently be had for £50, it should work out the box and is a better board that also comes with bios flashback then sell on the gigabyte board so your only a few quid out of pocket.

If it's the max version is should support the 3100 out of the box although if need be you can flash the board with bios flashback.

If it still doesn't work it could mean you have a faulty CPU.
