How do I force a game to play in Stereo?

Hi

WRC 3 currently has a bug where it won't play engine sounds if the user has a 7.1 setup.

There aren't any patches I know of, so it looks like I need to fix it myself. The only successful fix so far is if I change my windows sound settings to Stereo, however this isn't practical for other games.

Does anyone know if there's a command I can use at the end of the WRC 3 shortcut that will allow me to force it to play in stereo?

Or any other suggestions?

Must be a great game if they can't get such a basic element right!

WRC 3 is all about the gameplay, nevermind the sound. Who needs to hear sound from the correct position when you have all these magnificent tracks.

This is true, and the sound isn't great when using forced stereo. But I need it for gear changes
