How do I get an old lappy to boot from a USB CDROM?

I've got it all plugged up, but the lappy makes no attempt to boot from CD.

Are there any tricks to do this?

Lappy is 800Mhz celery.

Has to supoort USB booting and not all older hardware does!

No USB stuff in bios.

I'm trying to get ophcrack to run.

NM, I've taken the HD out, and running it in an enclosure now.

Lol, I found the admin password in less than 30 seconds as well.

I'd rather do that than spend hours fiddling with the BIOS anyway...
