How do i get internet explorer 8 on my windows 7 professional

Hi All

I've got a new laptop with windows 7 professional on it.

However, i'm trying to get internet explorer 8 on it, and it comes with 9, which i can't get to work with some stuff.

I've been to the control panel and selected uninstall programme, but internet explorer 9 is not on the list, so i'm currently stuck with it.

Anyone know how to delete 9 and get 8 on my laptop please.

remove 9
go to control panel
programs and features
Turn windows features off or on
untick IE9 , hit ok (might ask for reboot)

install 8
find IE 8 download and install it

Managed to find and uninstall it thanks everyone.

Also, i've turned off the auto update and download to stop it downloading 9 again as someone else suggested to me.
