How Do I get Into This Laptop?

Hi all,

I bought a few laptops recently but I cant to get into one as it passworded. Its running a windows 2000 OS, even if I boot onto SAFE MODE I get no luck.

Any ideas or will I have to reformat - I want to put a newer OS but would like to see whats on their at the moment.

you can use something like BartPE or a linux boot disk to reset the admin password.

or there's a few other tools floating around the net.

i think Hirens CD (google for it) also has an admin password reset.
