How do i get my contacts from Iphone onto HTC Desire?

Hey!

Just got my HTC Desire through the post, but have a bit of a problem.

How do i get my contacts from my iphone to the desire?

As far as i can see you cant back up the contacts from the iphone memory onto the sim card, only vice versa..... so am i going to have to manualy enter them all on the desire!?!

Surely there is an easy way.... on not as the case may be with apple!

But how do i do that on the iphone icysniper?!

I cant see an option to copy contacts to sim card!?

can you not sync your contacts to a gmail account with iphone?

Edit, yep: http://www.google.com/mobile/sync/

Then set up on your android... bobs your uncle.

I sync everything, calendar, contacts etc

Just tried setting it up to sync via gmail...... kept saying my password was incorrect, when it clearly isnt! doh!!

change your password and try again.

As others have said: Make sure you've set up imap in gmail and follow google's instructions on setting up MS exchange. Sync with gmail and then just log into gmail with your Desire. Should be easy.
