As above, my computer is hard wired to my router and now when i turn on my pc i have to log in to windows xp even though there is only one account with no password anyway, can i get around this, so when i turn the pc on it goes straight into windows? Cheers

If you've recently installed or upgraded .Net, then it might have installed the ASP user. You can remove it or disable it from the user accounts part of the control panel.

Start
Run
'Control userpasswords2'
Untick 'user must enter a username and password to use this computer'

Download Tweak UI from microsoft. Enables you to alter a lot of hidden features. Then simply go down to LOGON > AUTOLOGON and tick "Log on automatically at system startup.

Voila! :)
