Hi. I just downloaded and installed the new windows vista beta 2. I also installed forceware 88.61 drivers which seems to work all right. But how do I display the classic nvidia control panel? I can only seem to find it in control panel, not like in win xp where I right clicked on desktop>properties>advanced etc. I don't like the new control panel, I want to old one :(

Oh, and one more question. How do I open regedit? Is it a "run" function like in win xp?

Not sure about the nvidia thing but for regedit just type 'regedit' in a run box or a cmd prompt.

It's a while since I've used nVidia drivers on any pc let alone Vista. For my 9800 Pro there's a shortcut on the desktop to the CCC.

Assuming nVidia drivers haven't changed, you access the advanced settings via right clicking on desktop>properties>etc in XP.

In Vista you can get to the same menu like this:

Start>Control Panel>Appearance and Personalization>Adjust Screen Resolution>Advaned Settings

This doesn't show any graphics card specific options for me because I'm ATI, but I would imagine it will for nVidia stuff

HTH, null :)

I've tried that but it's not the same windows appearing as in win xp

I was under the impression that the nvidia drivers didn't include a control panel as they are beta drivers designed for compatibility.
