The correct way to get Incredimail Mystart out of Firefox is:
1. At Firefox address bar, enter about:config and press ENTER.
2. At Filter: field, type keyword.url
3. You should see a Preference name of keyword.URL in the list. Double click it, a "Enter String Value" input box will appear.
4. Replace the string with: http://www.google.com.my/search?q= Click "OK" button
about 1/3 way down here

Had it on a lappy the other week, it a persisent barstard.

I tried in Firefox by going to tools, click Add-ons, then click on Extensions, look for it listed there & click remove.

And then scanning in safe mode & removing it, but it still lurked here & there.

Ended up doing a fresh install of W7.

ive been wanting to do reinstall for some time now, i just done as nighglow said and removed from extensions, another quick scan in safe mode and nothing came up.
will keep an eye out but might do reinstall anyway when got time.

thanks for help guys

Prehaps if I had rescan it, I might have cleared it completely, but the lappy was cluttered with junk accumulated over 18 months of use, so thought a reinstall was a better option.

You'd think manually deleting the extension from your user profile or changing firefoxes config or using and uninstaller (fyi the free revo is useless on x64 systems, it's just used as an incentive to buy) would get rid of it :)

You'll find it constantly reinstalls because it inserted a tiny js file in you user profile (or appdata, not 100% sure which) when it installed. Removing that will prevent it coming back.

It's significantly easier than the other option http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=109647 but count yourself lucky you only got 1 bar, there are 3 others that are usually bundled with it. I still don't understand why legitimate companies add junk, that's technically malware, to their installers.

ahhh its in chrome now:(
time for reinstall. by the time ive messed around trying to get rid of it i can reinstall
